Akin Osuntokun, the former Director-General of the Obi-Datti Presidential Campaign Council, highlighted the challenges facing opposition parties in the lead-up to the 2027 presidential election. He pointed out that significant ideological differences and ongoing disputes regarding power rotation may hinder the ability of these parties to unite behind a single candidate. Osuntokun, who previously served as Political Adviser to former President Olusegun Obasanjo, expressed that these divisions could ultimately benefit the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming election.
