FG unveils new education policy to address out-of-school crisis

The Federal Government has introduced a National Policy on Alternative Learning Pathways aimed at improving educational access for out-of-school children, youths, and adults throughout Nigeria. Dr. John Edeh, the Director of Literacy and Development at the National Commission for Mass Literacy, Adult and Non-Formal Education (NMEC), provided details about the initiative during an interview with the News Agency. This policy is part of the government's efforts to address the ongoing educational crisis and ensure that marginalized populations have opportunities for learning and development.
