During the All Progressives Congress (APC) primaries in Bayelsa State, a significant turnout was observed across all 105 wards as party members cast their votes to select candidates for the upcoming general elections. Governor Douye Diri participated in the voting process at Sampou/Kalama Ward 6 in the Kolokuma/Opokuma local government area. In this ward, the incumbent House of Representatives member, Hon. Oforji Oboku, secured 2,565 votes, demonstrating strong support from the electorate. Governor Diri emphasized the unity within the party, stating that they are one family as they move forward in the electoral process.
