The Nigerian Navy has transferred five individuals suspected of involvement with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) and its armed wing, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), to the Department of State Services (DSS) in Anambra State. This handover is part of ongoing efforts to address security challenges in the region associated with the activities of these groups. The suspects were apprehended during operations aimed at curbing violence and unrest linked to the separatist movements. The DSS is expected to conduct further investigations into the suspects' activities and affiliations.
