A motorist had a close call with death when his Lexus Jeep veered off the road and plunged into a bush canal at the Mowo axis inward Badagry along the Lagos-Badagry Expressway. The incident was reportedly triggered by the driver's distraction from using a mobile phone while operating the vehicle. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) confirmed that the accident was a lone incident, emphasizing the dangers associated with mobile phone use while driving. Fortunately, the driver escaped without serious injuries.
