Several incumbent representatives from the state were among those who lost their bids for re-nomination. In contrast, Regina Akume, the wife of George Akume, successfully obtained her return ticket for the Gboko/Tarka Federal Constituency seat, marking a notable exception amidst the losses experienced by her husband's supporters.
