Sweden contributes SEK 2 million to WTO capacity-building activities

Sweden has pledged SEK 2 million, equivalent to approximately CHF 170,000 or N296 million, to the World Trade Organization's Global Trust Fund for the year 2026. This financial contribution is aimed at supporting technical assistance and training programs specifically designed for government officials from developing economies and least-developed countries, including Nigeria. The initiative underscores Sweden's commitment to enhancing trade capacity and fostering economic development in nations that require additional support in navigating global trade frameworks.
