The Oyo State Primary Healthcare Board has initiated the adaptation of the National Guidelines on Safe Termination of Pregnancy (STOP) to enhance reproductive health services and maternal health outcomes in the state. This adaptation process took place over two days at the University College Hospital (UCH) in Ibadan. Dr. Muideen, the executive secretary of the board, emphasized the importance of these guidelines in ensuring safe and effective reproductive health care. The board aims to implement these guidelines to better support women’s health and safety during pregnancy termination procedures.
