Simisola Fajemirokun-Ajayi, an aspirant for the Ile-Oluji/Oke-Igbo/Odigbo Federal Constituency seat representing the All Progressives Congress (APC), has raised concerns regarding alleged irregularities during the party's primary election. In a press briefing held in Ondo, she detailed reports from her agents about voter suppression, disruptions in voting lines, and the absence of electoral officials in certain wards, as well as attempts to compromise the collation process. Fajemirokun-Ajayi claimed to have received 4,247 votes, significantly ahead of her opponents, and called on President Bola Tinubu to intervene in order to protect the integrity of the electoral process. She expressed confidence that both the state governor and President Tinubu would ensure a fair resolution, while also announcing plans to allocate over N100 million in grants to support youth and small businesses in her constituency. The official results of the primary election have not yet been announced by the APC.
