The National Pension Commission (PenCom) in collaboration with the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Lagos Council is set to initiate enforcement actions against employers who have not complied with the remittance of workers' pension contributions under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS). This enforcement will begin on June 1, targeting those businesses that have defaulted in their obligations. The initiative aims to ensure that employees receive their rightful pension benefits and to uphold the integrity of the pension system in Lagos.
