Stakeholders from the European Union (EU) and the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development (CJID) convened in Sokoto to address the growing concerns over misinformation and disinformation in Nigeria. They highlighted that the prevalence of information disorder is exacerbating insecurity and poses a significant threat to the democratic processes in the country.
