The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has apprehended Saleh Mamman, the former Minister of Power, who was recently convicted of fraud. A Federal High Court in Abuja sentenced Mamman to 75 years in prison in absentia for his involvement in a N33.8 billion fraud case. EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede confirmed the arrest during a news conference held on Tuesday in Abuja, highlighting the commission's commitment to tackling financial crimes and ensuring that justice is served.
