Efforts at boosting Igbo cultural identity in Diaspora laudable – Igwe Okafor

His Royal Majesty, Igwe Denis Okafor, the Okeosisi Ezeani 11 of Ovuorie Kingdom in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, has expressed support for recent initiatives designed to enhance the cultural identity and leadership structure of the Igbo community abroad. His remarks followed the decision by the Southeast Council to abolish the title of Eze-ndigbo in the Diaspora, which he views as a significant step towards fostering unity and cultural preservation among Igbo people living outside Nigeria. Igwe Okafor emphasized the importance of these efforts in maintaining the rich heritage and traditions of the Igbo culture in a global context.
