India is set to receive the fourth squadron of the S-400 Triumf air defence system from Russia this week, enhancing its military capabilities. The Indian Air Force has designated this system as the “Sudarshan Chakra,” which has transitioned from being a strategic deterrent to a combat-ready operational asset. This evolution was underscored by its involvement in Operation Sindoor in May 2025, where it demonstrated its effectiveness in a real-world scenario.
