A total of 11 aspirants have acquired the expression of interest and nomination forms to contest for the All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial ticket in Oyo State for the 2027 election, according to reports from DAILY POST. Among these aspirants, eight hail from Ibadan, the state capital, while the remaining three include two candidates from the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone and one from another area. The emergence of these candidates marks the beginning of the political contest for the upcoming gubernatorial election in the state.
