The Agency Coordinating Body for Afghan Relief and Development, in collaboration with the United Nations Population Fund, convened the Afghanistan Disability Inclusion Working Group (ADIWG) meeting on May 20, 2026. The agenda included an opening session with updates, followed by discussions addressing barriers faced by persons with disabilities, informed by community perception monitoring findings. Participants also worked on finalizing the ADIWG workplan and announced the shortlisted organizations for the role of co-chair for the third ADIWG. Additionally, updates were provided regarding the Afghanistan Community Voices Platform (CVAP) for the years 2025 and 2026, concluding with any other business and closing remarks.
