Ogun police neutralize kidnapping kingpin, recover AK-47 rifle, 20 rounds of ammunition, N2 million cash

Operatives from the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Ogun State Police Command successfully neutralized a suspected kidnapping kingpin during a targeted operation in the Orile Ilugun Forest area, situated along the Abeokuta–Ibadan Expressway. According to the police spokesperson, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the operation was based on intelligence that led to the identification of the criminal hideout. In the course of the operation, law enforcement recovered an AK-47 rifle, 20 rounds of ammunition, and cash amounting to N2 million. The police have emphasized their commitment to combating kidnapping and other violent crimes in the region.
