The Lagos State Government has issued a recommendation for individuals planning to partake in the 2026 Hajj pilgrimage to prioritize their health and wellbeing in preparation for the journey. Dr. Abdullahi Jebe, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Islamic Matters and Chairman of the 2026 Hajj Ad-hoc Committee, emphasized the importance of maintaining good health as pilgrims prepare for the significant religious event. The advisory aims to ensure that participants are physically fit to undertake the rigorous activities associated with the pilgrimage.
