Operatives from the Anti-Kidnapping Unit of the Ogun State Police Command conducted a successful operation in the Orile Ilugun Forest area along the Abeokuta–Ibadan Expressway, resulting in the death of a suspected kidnapping kingpin. The operation was carried out based on intelligence gathered over several days of surveillance and investigation. In addition to neutralizing the suspect, the police seized a rifle and recovered two million naira in cash from the scene. This action is part of ongoing efforts by the Ogun State Police to combat kidnapping and related criminal activities in the region.
