The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has successfully dismantled a transnational methamphetamine production syndicate that involved both Nigerian and Mexican nationals. In a recent operation, the agency apprehended a total of 10 suspects, which included three Mexican nationals and the alleged leader of the cartel. This significant development was announced by NDLEA Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd.), during a media briefing held in Abuja. The operation underscores the agency's ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking and related criminal activities in Nigeria.
