The Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF) has reported that over 7.6 million workers in Nigeria are now part of the Employees’ Compensation Scheme (ECS). This initiative is part of the agency's ongoing efforts to enhance social protection coverage nationwide. Additionally, the NSITF has announced that the Nigeria Police Force has been enrolled into the ECS, further expanding the reach of the compensation scheme to include law enforcement personnel.
