The Kano Electricity Distribution Company (KEDCO) reported significant power outages in various areas of Kano, Katsina, and Kaduna states due to a strong windstorm that resulted in the collapse of 13 electricity poles. The incident, which affected feeder lines supplying electricity to multiple communities, was confirmed in a statement released by KEDCO on Wednesday. The company is currently assessing the damage and working to restore power to the affected regions as quickly as possible. Residents are advised to remain patient as repairs are undertaken.
