Comrade Mustapha Salihu, an aspirant for the governorship of Adamawa State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially withdrawn from the gubernatorial race. This decision comes in compliance with directives from the national leadership of the party. The announcement was made in a statement released on Wednesday by Ahmad Sajoh, the Head of Strategic Communication for Salihu's campaign organization. Following his withdrawal, Salihu has accepted a bid to contest for a Senate position, marking a shift in his political aspirations.
