The Lagos State government has launched a N10 billion initiative aimed at enhancing access to finance for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the region. Folashade Ambrose-Medebem, the commissioner for Commerce, Cooperatives, Trade and Investment, announced the program during the 2026 Ministerial Press Briefing in Alausa, Ikeja. This initiative is designed to provide cooperative-based MSMEs with increased funding opportunities to support their growth and sustainability. The government emphasizes its commitment to fostering a conducive environment for small businesses to thrive in Lagos.
