President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially appointed Professor Segun Aina as the new Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). This appointment follows the conclusion of Professor Is-haq Oloyede's second and final tenure, which is set to end on July 31, 2026. The announcement was made through a statement released on Thursday by Bayo Onanuga, the President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy. Professor Aina's new role will involve overseeing the administration of the board, which is responsible for conducting entrance examinations for tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
