Vietnam International Financial Center in Ho Chi Minh City has officially launched the International Maritime Financial Ecosystem (IMFE) during a high-level forum held in collaboration with Gemadept Corporation and the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Development Studies. This initiative aims to harness the significant flow of USD billions currently moving offshore by creating a comprehensive financial framework tailored to the maritime industry. The IMFE is expected to enhance Vietnam's position in the global maritime finance sector and attract international investments. The launch event brought together key stakeholders from the financial and maritime sectors to discuss the potential impacts and opportunities presented by this new ecosystem.
