The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) has successfully restored the Alaoji Open Cycle Power Plant located in Abia State, which had been non-operational for three years. The plant was initially shut down in 2020 due to challenges related to gas supply. NDPHC's managing director and CEO, Jennifer Adighije, announced plans to expand the facility's capacity to approximately 800 megawatts, indicating a significant step towards enhancing power generation in the region.
