Sule Lamido, the former Governor of Jigawa State, emphasized the need for the northern region of Nigeria to confront its challenges in order to effectively address the issue of insecurity. In an interview with Premier Radio in Kano, Lamido highlighted that the increasing violence and instability can be traced back to inadequate leadership and a decline in moral values within the community. He called for a collective introspection among the people of the North to foster a more secure environment.
