The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) conducted a destruction exercise on Thursday in Kaduna State, targeting counterfeit and unregistered pharmaceutical products valued at approximately N2 billion. The operation took place at the Gonin Gora dumpsite, where large quantities of fake Pregabalin capsules, which had been intercepted prior to entering the Nigerian market, were destroyed. This initiative underscores NAFDAC's commitment to safeguarding public health by eliminating harmful and illegal drugs from circulation.
