Eko, Ikeja, and Abuja Electricity Distribution Companies have reported significant progress in customer metering, having successfully installed meters for 241,590 customers over the past two months. This achievement highlights their leadership in metering penetration within the Nigerian electricity sector. In contrast, other distribution companies such as those in Jos, Kaduna, Kano, and Yola have shown lower performance in this area, indicating a disparity in metering efforts across the country. The advancements made by the leading Discos are part of ongoing initiatives to improve electricity access and reliability for consumers.
