The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) has launched a comprehensive three-year strategic plan aimed at combating HIV/AIDS in the territory, with a budget of N41.2 billion. This initiative, known as the FCT HIV and AIDS Strategic Plan (FSP) 2025–2027, was officially unveiled during a stakeholders’ dissemination meeting held in Abuja on Tuesday. The FCTA has expressed its commitment to eradicating HIV/AIDS in the region by the year 2030, emphasizing the importance of collaboration among stakeholders to achieve this goal. The plan outlines various strategies and interventions designed to enhance prevention, treatment, and support services for those affected by the virus.
