Alfred Emberga, the Speaker of the Benue State House of Assembly, has successfully secured the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for the 2027 state assembly elections in the Makurdi North constituency. In the primary election, Emberga garnered a total of 7,303 votes, affirming his position as the party's candidate. Additionally, Lami Danladi, the Deputy Speaker, also clinched the APC ticket for the Ado constituency, further solidifying the party's representation in the upcoming elections. Both candidates will now represent the APC in their respective constituencies during the forthcoming electoral process.
