The Abia State government has urged electricity generation and distribution companies to uphold transparency and fairness towards consumers and investors within the state. This call was made by the State’s Commissioner for Power and Public Utilities, Ikechukwu Monday, during a public consultation on draft regulations held by the Abia State Electricity Regulation Authority (ASERA) on Thursday. The initiative aims to foster a more equitable electricity market and enhance consumer trust in the services provided by these companies.
