Hyacinth Alia has been declared the winner of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election in Benue State, which took place on Thursday. Alia garnered a significant 367,786 votes, decisively defeating his nearest rival, Terwase Ornunde, who received 3,247 votes. Another contender, Jeffery Kuranun, finished with 2,923 votes. The outcome solidifies Alia's position as the party's candidate for the upcoming gubernatorial election.
