Governor Uba Sani Approves Nearly ₦1 Billion to Settle Judiciary Staff Arrears

Governor Uba Sani has announced the approval of nearly ₦1 billion to address long-standing arrears owed to judiciary staff in Kaduna State. This decision was revealed during a courtesy visit from the Judiciary Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN), Kaduna State Chapter, led by Chairman Mr. Auwalu Sarki. The funds will cover two months of salary arrears from April and May 2021, leave grants for the years 2023, 2024, and 2025, as well as overdue robe and outfit allowances for judiciary workers. Governor Sani emphasized that this financial intervention reflects his administration's commitment to the welfare of judicial workers and the strengthening of institutions that uphold justice and democratic governance.
