N8.7bn Money Laundering: Court Adjourns Ex-AGF Malami’s Trial Till June 23

Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court in Maitama, Abuja, has postponed the trial of former Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, along with his wife, Hajia Bashir Asabe, and their son, Abubakar Abdulaziz Malami, until June 23, 2026. The defendants are facing allegations of involvement in a money laundering scheme amounting to N8.7 billion.
