The North East Development Commission (NEDC) has made a significant contribution to the aviation sector in the North-East region by donating 130 trolleys to six airports, alongside broadcasting equipment to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN). The donation was officially presented during a ceremony held in Maiduguri, Borno State. Mohammad Alkali, the managing director of the NEDC, emphasized that these items are essential to the ongoing rebuilding efforts in the North-East, which has faced numerous challenges in recent years. This initiative is part of the commission's broader strategy to enhance infrastructure and support development in the region.
