The Chief Judge of Taraba State, Justice Joel Agya, presided over a case in Court No. 1 in Jalingo on Friday, where he discharged and acquitted three former officials of the Sardauna local government council, including two former chairmen and a finance director. The officials faced allegations of misappropriation of project funds, but Justice Agya determined that the prosecution did not provide sufficient evidence to substantiate the claims against them. The judgment was delivered in relation to Charge No. TRSJ/19C/2020, concluding the legal proceedings against the accused individuals.
