The Department of State Services (DSS) has released Mr. Ya’u Mohammed, a young man from Gashua town in the Bade Local Government Area of Yobe State, who was found to have been wrongfully detained. This announcement was made by Brigadier General Dahiru Abdulsalam (Rtd), the Special Adviser on Security Matters to the Yobe State Governor, during his visit to the DSS Yobe State Command Headquarters in Damaturu. In addition to his release, the DSS has provided Mr. Mohammed with financial support amounting to N2 million to assist him following his wrongful detention.
