AEDC Announces Blackout in Presidential Villa, Airport, Other Parts of Abuja

The Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has reported a power outage affecting several key locations in Abuja, including the Presidential Villa, Supreme Court, and Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport. This disruption, announced in a notice on Saturday, is attributed to a technical fault. The outage impacts a wide range of areas, including Garki, Asokoro, and Lugbe, as well as various embassies and hotels within the capital. AEDC has communicated that the technical team from the Transmission Company of Nigeria is actively working to restore power and has expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to affected customers.
