Former Governor of Katsina State, Ibrahim Shehu Shema, has called on winners of the All Progressives Congress (APC) primary elections to engage in reconciliation efforts with those who did not secure tickets. Speaking to journalists after voting in the APC presidential primary election, Shema emphasized the importance of unity within the party, urging victorious candidates to reach out to their opponents, accommodate their concerns, and encourage their continued support. He acknowledged that disagreements are common in political processes but highlighted that effective resolution is crucial for maintaining harmony. Shema, who co-chaired the party’s reconciliation committee, reported progress in addressing grievances among members and reassured aspirants who lost that remaining committed to the party could lead to future opportunities.
