The Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) has officially cleared former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke, to participate in its presidential primaries scheduled for May 25. This announcement was made in a statement by the party's National Publicity Secretary, Muhammed Ishaq, on Saturday in Abuja. In addition to Duke, Nnaoke Ufere from Abia has also been confirmed as a candidate for the party's presidential ticket. The PRP is preparing for a competitive primary as it seeks to select its representative for the upcoming 2027 elections.
