Governor Hope Uzodimma, serving as the Imo State Coordinator and Returning Officer for the APC presidential primary election, announced that President Bola Tinubu secured a total of 582,823 votes, significantly surpassing his closest competitor, Osifo, who garnered 103 votes. Uzodimma emphasized that this victory positions Tinubu favorably for a potential re-election bid in 2027, attributing the success to the administration's focus on grassroots political reforms and democratic inclusiveness. The declaration was made during a formal event at the collation Centre located at the Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu International Convention Centre in Owerri.
