Residents of Byazhin, Kubwa, and Dei-Dei communities in the Bwari Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory have expressed their dissatisfaction with the high estimated electricity bills they receive, which they claim do not reflect their actual usage. Despite experiencing poor and irregular power supply, the residents reported that the bills remain consistently high, leading to financial strain. They have called on the relevant authorities to provide prepaid meters as a solution to ensure fair billing practices and to improve their overall electricity experience. The community members voiced their concerns during interviews with LEADERSHIP in Abuja.
