President Bola Tinubu has achieved a decisive victory in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary election held on Saturday, securing overwhelming support across multiple states. The election, overseen by state governors acting as collation officers, saw Tinubu defeat his only opponent, Stanley Osifo, who received no votes in several regions. Notably, Tinubu garnered 280,468 votes in Rivers State, 450,516 in Gombe, and 310,990 in Kwara, among other significant tallies, while Osifo's vote count remained negligible. Following this successful primary, Tinubu is set to receive the APC's certificate of return and party flag on Sunday, with the presentation ceremony scheduled to take place at the Bola Ahmed Tinubu International Conference Centre in Abuja.
