This performance marked her season's best, although it was not enough to surpass the winning time of 12.14 seconds set by Masai Russell from the United States. Amusan finished ahead of Devyne Charlton from the Bahamas, who completed the race in 12.37 seconds. The event showcased a competitive field, with Amusan continuing to demonstrate her prowess in the hurdles.
