The Edo State Police Command announced the successful rescue of 13 passengers who were abducted by suspected kidnappers along the Benin-Lagos Expressway. This operation involved a combination of drones, aerial surveillance, intelligence gathering, and thorough bush-combing tactics. The police engaged in a gun duel with the kidnappers, which ultimately led to the safe recovery of all victims. CSP Eno Ikoedem, the command’s spokesperson, provided details of the operation in a statement released on Saturday in Benin City.
