The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has officially named Senator Ireti Heebah Kingibe as its candidate for the Federal Capital Territory senatorial election in the upcoming 2027 general polls. In the party's primary election, Kingibe achieved a significant victory, receiving 17,535 votes, while her opponent, Mubarak Tijjani, secured only 806 votes.
