The Federal Government of Nigeria has launched the first harmonised fertiliser recommendation manual in over ten years, aimed at enhancing agricultural productivity and soil health. This initiative, facilitated by the National Agricultural Development Fund (NADF) in collaboration with the Farm Input Support Services (FISS), seeks to improve crop yields and optimise fertiliser-use efficiency nationwide. The manual is expected to provide farmers with scientifically-backed guidelines for fertiliser application, thereby contributing to sustainable agricultural practices across the country.
