On Friday, the Nigerian Exchange recorded a modest increase of 0.22 percent, attributed to ongoing bargain-hunting among investors. However, the total volume of transactions decreased, with 711.9 million equities valued at N29.1 billion exchanged across 62,386 deals, a drop from the previous session's 1.1 billion equities worth N31.0 billion in 62,448 transactions. Despite the decline in trading activity, investors collectively gained N344 billion during this period.
